Until new nano lithium technology comes in later in 2009, mobile phone batteries are still notoriously flaky. Just when you need to make an important call the battery indicator tells you the charge is all but extinct. You may have conditioned your battery in line with all of the advice and old wives tales floating around but still have to re-charge yours every day. Short of buying a spare and keeping that charged what can you do?
When you do something processor intensive, plug in the charger. Not only because this usually triggers a higher performance setting and give you more horse power to play with, but because when the battery is discharged at maximum rate it's more probable to overheat, and heat is a great enemy of Lithium-Ion.
The mating process between the two engines can be in series or in parallel. When the two powertrains are mated in series, only one of the motors controls the cars movement. The other one simply assists the first, dominant engine. This occurs most often in mild or assist hybrids. The Saturn Vue Green Line Belt Alternator System (BAS) is a good example. The concept vehicle named the Volt from GM is another good example of a series but lithium battery stocks not a mild hybrid.
You can buy cheap cell phone batteries for any model. Every cellphone model has an appropriate cellphone battery that works best with these. But a cellphone battery from the same brand may not work with the other models.
The weakest aspect of any smart phone would be battery life. You need to know the extent of your Lithium battery stocks Ion or suffer the consequences at the end of the sale. Most manufacturers offer some guidance on this department but only to the point they are most comfortable to share. What they wouldn't share to you is that you should never recharge your phone. You pick up the phone; saw that it is just around 30%. That is OK, leave it as it is. You juice it up fast, the device will not recharge as efficiently once you do it again. You need to drain the battery first from the stock power and then do the recharge.
If you use a Lithium mines Ontario ion battery make sure it doesn't come in contact with other metals, as the ions might be disturbed leading to a defective battery. Jarring a battery by dropping your cell phone can cause damage even if the phone looks unharmed. Extreme weather conditions can also spoil batteries. Heaters, ovens, stoves and other hot items can cause a battery to overheat or melt. As with other electronic equipment, cell phones should never get wet. This directly affects the circuit and the battery and causes them to rust.
Most automakers would like to see Lithium-Ion battery packs (you probably have a Li-Ion battery in your cell phone) which can store more energy. But as of right now, they are still too volatile/unreliable when placed in large packs for major carmakers to use. But that should be changing in the next few years. Both GM (with their Plug-In Saturn Vue) and Toyota (next generation Prius/ Hybrid Systems) believe the next generation of hybrids will come with Li-Ion battery packs.
Grooming items are iffy but worth checking out. Shampoo is a decent find as are scrubbies/loofahs. Items like Chapstick and Vaseline can often be found there and my very favorite soap (Yardley oatmeal and almond) is almost always available at the dollar store. Nail files, packages of combs, tooth flossing sticks are of value. Skip the cotton swabs (too flimsy and could be dangerous), make-up (due to lack of regulation), and make-up remover pads (can I just say UGH!?).
